Abstract:

2 '-fucosyllactose (2'-FL) is the most abundant oligosaccharide in human milk (about 31%), which plays an important role in the growth and development of infants. At the end of 2019, 2 '-FL has been approved as a new food in the EU. Therefore, how to produce 2'-FL efficiently and safely has become a hot research topic. Compared with other methods, the use of microbial cell factories for the synthesis of 2 '-FL with low cost, safe, fast and other characteristics, is to achieve large-scale production 

an infant formula comprising a combination of RRR alpha tocopherol, 2 'fucosyllactose and at least one probiotic from the genus Lactobacillus or Bifidobacterium is disclosed.
